Travel in Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia in its region.svgSaudi Arabia is one of two countries named for their royal families along with the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. Besides, Saudi Arabia is a middle Eastern country that occupies most of the Arabian peninsular and has coastline on the Indian Ocean, Persian Gulf and Red Sea. Saudi Arabia contains holy Muslims cities of Makkah and Madinah to which all physically able Muslimsare required to make a pilgrimage at least once.



HAJJ


The Hajj is the traditional Muslims pilgrimage to Mecca. Plus, the Hajj can only be completed during Islamic month  of Dhu al-Hijjah.Every year over two million people visit Saudi Arabia for this pilgrimage.

MADAIN SALEH


Madain Saleh is a large archaeological sites in Saudi Arabia.  A Nabataean city hewed out of rock in the same style as Jordan far more famous Petra.Madain Saleh is on UNESCO tentative list for World Heritage and would be a top tourist.
